Own Your Dreams

I opened the drawer, 
took my notepad, held my pen
and started to write something
That's what I do when my mind is flying,
To my goals, to my desires, to my future
Tonight, I'm listing down my plans
Though I know I can't have everything I want

My mirror says "take a look before you walk"
Be careful, but it's okay if you might fall
'cause sometimes, says the clock
"You have to wait for perfect timing"
Just remember to stay cool
And believe you can have it all
'cause if you have the courage, one day
You will own your dreams.

Fay is a Jill of all trades. She is a licensed professional teacher, content editor, HR Manager, and self-published author. She has published two books on Amazon and is currently working on her goal of printing her books locally. At present, she is an editor at LexisNexis®+UK and handles four practice areas (Family, In-house Advisor, Pensions, and Practice Management). Fay is also an HR Manager at Little Rain Center, where she reports three times a week. On weekends, she continues to teach English online to her private students and also takes on content writing jobs from Upwork sometimes. She has written a few songs back then but is not planning to pursue a music career anytime soon.
