Space between us

Space between us

Whenever I say I need some space,
My brain means I'll stay away for days.
But what can I do when my heart always complains?
If you aren't around, I'm breaking more in silence.

I hate feeling down because of you,
Yet I feel so guilty when I hurt you too.
I'm the type who seeks retaliation;
But spiting you is never a satisfying option.

All I want is to delete the space between
Or the wall you created without me knowing
I don't need anything more than your undivided attention,
Is it to much to ask to see and hear you on the phone?
