Wrong Card

Wrong Card

I had learned to cast you out of my mind
Thought I could totally live without you in sight
But then, you finally felt my hand,
The chills I once sensed came back.

You won my love without incantation
With just a glimpse, you spoke directly to my heart.
Deliberately becoming my inspiration,
I hope we won't be apart.

But now, I realize it's hard
to keep beating while I'm clueless if you love me back
You seem out of reach for me
Maybe, to you, I'm simply Miss Nobody.

So, even if my heart still screams your name
I'll kill this silly thing
This is perhaps a mere foolish illusion;
A wrong card in hopeless probation.
