Worlds Apart

Worlds Apart

I could not bring to mind the exact jiffy
When my heart fell and broke in moiety;
Though between us, there is a mighty wall,
The air still blew love through a wee hole
And with the night sky as our intercom,
I'd leave messages in modicum;
You may not hear the words precisely
But I pray that the warmth is transmitted to you instantly.

We are antonyms in many ways,
And it is hard to sing along
But I'm going to use my head tone to reach your keys
So we could let the music play on;
Because heaven knows how much I care,
To tear the partition down, I would dare
I'd kick this wall till I'm lame
If that's what it takes to reach my dream.
