Where I Belong
Missing you so badly, I can't catch on When it comes to you, I don't want to back down. Obsessed with thinking that I'm the one you want to be with, That everything I dream of is in the wind; Can't keep down of minding of you all along, To you, my thoughts belong. I'm afraid to open my mouth and be loquacious; Fear to slip my tongue and dig you out of my subconscious, Because what I feel for you is atypical; You have infected me with love so hysterical, And it's amazing how you tuned my guitar on. It's for you alone that I sing my love song. Reaching out to you is not against the clock, And I'll keep it on, hook it on a rock; So if God would one day redden the street lamp, I swear, I could not just jump at; The piece will be half-baked if my affection is wrong, It's for you alone that I'm writing this poem.
