Time

She mends a broken heart.
It’s what the old hands utter.
I say, beware when she lures you a head start;
Take a wrong foot forward; you’ll be in deep water.

She was my friend
Before she left me in vain, waiting.
Now, she is my worst nightmare;
Draining my hopes chasing after her.

If you'd give me love to last forever,
I will value you from January to December.
I will renew my vow weekly;
To show an act of grace each day.

Make up for the lost moments you owed me;
Be fair, and I will use you wisely,
I would extend a helping hand without delay;
Being a blessing every single jiffy.
