Superstar

Superstar

Glaring at the heaven above
Constantly longing for my far-off love
I was searching for a star with a peculiar spark;
To the rhythm of its light, I desire to hark.

Sat I in a garden of green mists
Embraced by the yellow-blooming sugary scents
At 7:11 as the golden ball shone up so high
Behind the thin smoke, a tail of brightness flew by.

A shooting star it was!
Such sight charged my chest to pound fast;
Before it could fade to where ashes are
I whispered to be thy girl, my superstar!

My greatest dream is to bend my knees beside thee
In a sacred rite of Holy Matrimony
Where our loved ones could witness;
We say "I do" before we touch lips.
