Sparks of Hope

Sparks of Hope

Worry not, my distant star
I view your dim sparkles from afar,
Cold, they may seem
But I ideate, someday they'll gleam.

Patience isn't my truth
And my gaiety is out of youth
Yet I'll glue my heart to a corner
To keep it yours forever.

Breathe all you wish
Shut the doors till you replenish,
I know when the hour is right
The shadows would fade as fireflies ignite.

A ray of hope is all we quest
Each day a kiss of prayer sent
I'll watch you get free from the sky
And catch you with a loving smile.
