Pabati-bati

(Hiligaynon-Kinaray-a poem)

Kuno abi daw sa wala lang
Pay kung maglahog, may malisya;
Derechoha bala nga istorya,
Kung di gani, hipos ka du lang.

Ginatiklod mo pa takon sa kung kay sin-o
Pay galangot man gali buot mo;
Ayos ka lang, migo?
Indi mo dun takon mainto.

Man-an ko du ran ah,
Dunot du ran nga istayl ya!
Insat, ano pamatyagan mo nga?
Amo ko ran ka tanga?

Waay timo kamaan nga naugot ako?
Kairita ka dayang duro liku-liko.
Kuon lang kung naluyag timo
Para maman-an mo nga di ta ikaw gusto.
