No Omens

No Omens

The wind whistling in the rice fields
Foretells the shedding of heaven's tears;
Yet time hasn't warned me,
There's Cupid's arrow coming my way.

I don't know a lot,
About him, I'm not
Interested in the first place;
Now I'm running after an unknown home base.

Where did the omens go?
I should have run backward,
But they never let me know
And he has caught me off-guard.

Oh my!
All I can do now is sigh,
I think I'm in love with this pretty guy
Who hasn't noticed me passing by.
