Moments

Moments

The moment I open my eyes, there you go;
Thoughts of you emerge like some bubbling shampoo,
You're the early light from my window;
You stir me up in a new glow.

The moment I touch the floor, there you go;
Images of you spring like a bamboo,
You're the weight I tip from toe to toe;
You carry my love each day anew.

The moment I sip from my cup, there you are;
Your words remind me like an alarm,
I taste the bitter sap sensing you from afar;
I have my heart in my hand without your warmth.
