Give Me Some Time

Give Me Some Time

I didn't want to show
How I liked the way you held my hand
But if you only know
Maybe you would understand
I'm just asking you to give me some time.

I might've tried to hide
That I liked
how you brushed my hair with your fingers
I felt the chills deep inside
When you said how soft my face is
But still, I ask you to give me some time.

I know I'm sometimes rude to you
'Cause I am conscious of the people around
I'm not used to this kind of scenario
When someone makes me feel safe and sound
So please give me some time.

If you only know, I'm just afraid
Afraid to fall in love and make a mistake
I want to see some signs if it's really you
Before I declare we are the reverse of NO
So give me some more time.
