Fish
After the heaven's curtains eclipsed the daylight, The bed carries my weight; Indian sit. With both hands folded upright I envisage a mortal's silhouette. The two unsealed windows on his face flicker Like stars dropping light on life below; And his smile is the sun engulfing the shiver Consoling any chilled fellow. My eyes caught his beatific trait And I ascertain; Submerged in this sea so quiescent, He resembles my greatest dream. Now, before I rest my head on mellow cotton, I'll grip for his fin and hold it tight. I'll blow wishing candles in orison, May this vertebrate swim his way to my life.
