A Nocturnal Fairytale

A Nocturnal Fairytale

Tonight I'm giving thee something superfluous;
That is my admiration, so humongous
For I have discerned that thou art a gallant,
Even if I am a blunt heart.

When thou art holding me with alacrity,
I feel so snug.
I don't care if this is a malady,
because I am smug.

This is my hardest avowal:
In thy arms, I would like to loll.
I'd do anything for thy warm snuggle
Even if I have to finagle.

Even if everyone says I'm doing balderdash;
For thee, I'd keep this box of a mishmash.
And I would tirelessly utter my boon
To keep our happiness from ending soon.
