A Poem for You

A Poem for You

I want to write a poem
To let you know how I really feel
Yet here I am, trying hard to catch on
Why is it so challenging to tell?

This thing that we have is peculiar
Who knows if it is possible to love from afar?
Now I know love moves in mysterious ways
You came into my life at a time I expected it the least.

We are two different worlds crashing with mistrust
But we found love instead of falling apart.
This time baby, I am giving you my heart,
And I am not taking it back.
