Being a Friend

Being a Friend

Being a friend means you listen

When someone needs an ear to confide in

Being a friend means you’re feeling.

Someone’s grief and pain.

Being a friend means you savor the bliss

For someone’s victory and success.

Being a friend means you’re ready to embrace

And radiate warmth always.

Being a friend means they turn to you

Because someone like you is pure and true.
