Changes

When you came into my life, I was changed
I never thought my wings would emerge
Like a caterpillar morphed into a butterfly,
My dreams are great; they touch the sky!

You're the only one who could make me smile at silly thoughts,
I don't mind your dirty jokes when normally they turn me off;
It's strange how those silly things you say
Make it worthwhile and make my day.

You took me out of my shell
Every time I open my eyes, I am better
Mornings are good with your "hello"
Perfect days mean reading your "I love you."

Changes are unbearable if, for the worst
But the transformation caused by you is gorgeous
I keep you deeper in my heart with each passing moment
'Coz I was blessed the day we met.

Fay is a Jill of all trades. She is a licensed professional teacher, content editor, HR Manager, and self-published author. She has published two books on Amazon and is currently working on her goal of printing her books locally.
