Dream Sonnet III

Dream Sonnet III

Before I finally settled to retire
Under the cozy sheets of my nook,
I plugged in the wire
To sneak on my Facebook;
My eyes fell on a photo
Of an old friend, as I was scrolling,
With pride, he stepped on the snow
Outside his new car, smiling.
When I dozed off, finally
I was strolling where I’d never been
Just to find a sweater for me,
In a land, I had never seen
I guess I was in Canada that night
It's where you want to live, right?
