I Hope You Know

I Hope You Know

I hope you know something
Something akin to my occult feeling
A mystery that no words can precisely express
An emotional splendor without an egress.

I'm mind-traveling as I ramble
Now enthralled by your effulgence
But a glimpse of your prestigious world makes me feel so small;
In a vast ocean, I couldn't see my existence.

This pounding in my chest is an enigmatic sense;
I'm falling for a man from a thither place.
It's like dreaming of a star from outer space
You're typically out of my reach.

I wish I could let you know how I feel
I hope you know I want this for real;
I wish I could let you lucidly see
You'll share a bright future with me.
