On My Own

On My Own

All alone, thinking
Of the bygone with thy presence
I can't halt my eyes from dropping waters
Revoking the memories

I wavered to show
Now, I want to make it known to you
Those three last words I told you
I meant them - it's true!

Only at first, I minded
Should I, could I, would I mourn
For insoluble was I enough to carry on
Misty eyes - but why now?
Hadn't proclaimed I've moved on?
