Sky of Love

Sky of Love

Took steps with your tunes in my ears
Going to and fro with a taciturn pace
Green, gold, pale red and beige
Till I've memorized all shades of the garden leaves.

When you purposely went away
Your luggage tugged off a part of me
Now, I could never give luck to any of them
You've packed the sole heart of my system.

Dusk isn't a thing of beauty
Not when no constellations are blinking brilliantly
To remind me we are under the same sky
Perfectly together---You and I.

While I look at the boundless space
I could sense the tissues stretching my lips
Of being stiff-necked, I would not care
As long as under this sky
You are waiting for me somewhere.
