Soliloquy

Soliloquy

Dear heart,
I can't catch on why
You keep on waiting for his reply.
Each day, it becomes heavier to bear
How that someone seems not to hear.

Do you ask yourself sometimes
If on his busy days you're still on his mind?
It's unmanageable to expect
If you're uncertain it's worth the wait.

Despite my dubiety, I choose to believe in you.
You want to give him a chance, so I do too.
Let's just hope and pray
That he would keep everything he says.
