Thinking of You

Thinking of You

I just woke up from my reverie
Discovering this diaphaneity:
You've made me truly smitten;
And the proof is every poem for you I have written
Each time my head becomes your den;

I think I am a renegade,
For my priorities are getting lopsided
I am an angel with a rakish halo;
My thoughts are now becoming askew,
They always point at you.

By looking at you, I got aghast;
Now, this feeling had left me in a severe nonplus;
However, I am ironclad,
By dwelling in my mind, you made me glad
And it's out of my hand.

Even if I'll see the dreg of your character one day,
The love I have for you won't meander away;
And if you ever become rowdy,
I promise not to be crabby.
It will forever be a feather in my cap
 to be your one and only.
