Thy Choice

Thy Choice

Ask me not if thou shall woo
For I never say 'yes' or 'no.'
Come hither if thou art fascinated,
Come with thy courage all gathered.

Coyly, thou say "hi,"
But here I sit, letting go a sigh
Till I wonder over again
What must've kept thee from talking?

I tried to explain what I meant
But thou didst not catch on.
I wanted to say it wouldn't hurt to wait
But thou hast claimed thy doom.

Wait not for my signal
If thou knowest, I'm not closing the portal.
Never wait to hear my voice
Because walking in is all thy choice.
