Yesterday and Today

Yesterday and Today

Yesterday:

You told me that when things get right, you’d still choose to be with me. I clearly remember telling you that you can take your time. But now, I’m not so certain anymore. I want to know whether I am right about waiting for you. You told me you hoped it wasn’t goodbye. I am hoping it wasn’t because many days have already passed by, and I still haven’t heard from you. I eventually got used to your absence, but I never stopped thinking and worrying about you. I hope you are healing, but I wish I could too. Now, all I hope is for you to send a message to tell me whether you are coming back into my life or leaving for good. I can wait patiently if it’s worth it, but please spare me from deeper heartbreak if it isn’t. If you’re better off without me, just let me know. I will completely let you go if that’s the best for you.

Today:

I wish everything is right for you, but I don’t expect you to still want to be with me. You can take your time, but I am sorry because I’m no longer waiting for you. I also once believed and hoped it wasn’t goodbye. Now, I know it was because many years have passed by and there’s no news from you. I eventually moved on and no longer think or worry about you. But I wish you’ve healed as I have. If you will ever send a message, just let me know you are well and happy. The pain had taught me many lessons and my heartache is gone. I finally got the pieces back together and found the right man.
