You Are Not Empty: Embracing Your Worth

You Are Not Empty: Embracing Your Worth

Have you ever come to a point when you thought that you’re exhausted — that you had no strength left and had nothing left to give?

It’s a feeling we all face at some point — like you’ve been poured out completely, and there’s nothing left inside but air. You try to keep going, but nothing seems to come out anymore. So you wonder, “What’s the point?” You start believing you’ve run dry.

Apart from writing, one of my hobbies is beauty content creation. I film short videos of me unboxing beauty products, flexing their texture, using them, and talking about my thoughts on them. I do have my favorites, and it honestly upsets me when I realize I’ve run out of those goodies — especially the ones that worked wonders for my skin.

But here’s the thing: when a product feels empty, I don’t always throw it away right away. I cut it open.

And more often than not, I’m amazed at how much product is still left inside — clinging to the edges, hiding in corners I couldn’t see before. Enough for several more uses. It was never truly empty.

All I had to do was look more closely.

You are that bottle.

You’re not as worthless as you believe. You are not done, useless, or empty. Sometimes it takes being “cut open”—through adversity, introspection, or even a moment of self-awareness—to realize that you still possess a great deal of resilience, beauty, strength, and hope.

Whenever you feel like giving up on yourself, look again. Look further, for you are full of worth and unrealized potential.

You are more than your current emotions.
You are more than your struggles.
You are more than what you can imagine.
If you look deep within you, you are never empty.
